Window Coverings + Home Automation

Here we have a client who wanted Somfy motorized roller shades and draperies. They wanted to integrate the window coverings into their Control 4 Home Automation system in Vancouver, BC. Through an interface provided, the Control 4 Home Automation system can send a signal to our drapery and blind controllers to let them know whether to open or close or stop. On top of the integration, you can also have separate controllers which will operate the shades outside of the Control 4 system. This allows the client to not only control the shades through their Control 4 system at home, but also through the Control 4 web interface. In using the web interface, the shades can be controlled from anywhere in the world that has an Internet connection, whether that be from your iphone or a computer connected to the Internet. You can also add to these shades a timer or a sun sensor for control of your window coverings while you are not home or out of the country.
